Gerenda Sawyer, Executive Chef

A native West Texan, Chef Gerenda Sawyer is a Culinary Graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Norfolk, Virginia. Upon graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1998, Chef Sawyer began her career as a chef for “1717 Restaurant” and “Dani Group” at the Dallas Museum of Art in Dallas, Texas. She later became a Manager and Trainer for Godiva Chocolatier. Recently, Chef Sawyer worked as the chef for Big Wood Smoked Foods in Dallas, Texas. All of these experiences have given her a vast knowledge of food and a desire to satisfy even the most discriminating palate. Now that she is back in her hometown, she hopes to revolutionize the way you think about food through her company, Fleur de Lis Foods!
